- 3 pounds hamburger
- 2 large onions, chopped
- 2 cups water
- 5 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic clove powder
- 1/4 to at least oneOr2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- Inside a large skillet or Nederlander oven, prepare beef and onion over medium heat until meat is not pink drain. Add water and seasonings. Provide a boil. Reduce heat simmer, uncovered, before the water is evaporated, about fifteen minutes.
A great beginning-point taco or nacho meat recipe. Came from here, I would use millions of directions. Some I have attempted are: Add finely chopped vegetables like chiles, carrots, tomato plants or garlic clove. Replace some or all the meat with chopped eggplant, cooked black beans, or perhaps a meat substitute. Add a number of chopped fresh eco-friendly onions and cilantro, along with a squeeze of lime juice, right before serving.
Simple to make. This time around after i chose to make this I subsisted Bob’s Red Mil TVP for hamburger. Works together with ground poultry too.
